2. Why was my credit card charged before the delivery was made?When an order is placed the charge is put through on your card. When an order is placed for a fill we charge an amount large enough to cover the gallons you may take. Once the delivery has been made and we know the exact amount a refund is done to your card should you not take the full amount.  This is the quickest way to secure payment and not tie up unnecessary funds for a pre authorization (some banks could take several days to remove a pre authorization!)
3. When will you schedule my delivery?All orders are scheduled for delivery with in two (2) business days. However, most deliveries will be made on the next business day; depending on the volume of deliveries in your area and any type of weather conditions that might affect safe travel. 4. Do I have to be home at the time of delivery?Sometimes. Some Distributor’s Insurance Companies require a visual inspection of your tank for your FIRST DELIVERY ONLY. We try to be as flexible and accomodating as possible when this is necessary. Before you are asked for credit card information there is a notice box that will tell you if this is a requirement in your area.
5. After I ordered my oil the price went down. Can I get the lower price?Your price is set when you submit your order. We don’t increase your price when the cost of oil goes up after your order and we cannot go down either.
6. Why is my price higher than the lowest price quoted on your home page?We have dealers in all parts of your state; dealers have different transportation charges and expenses related to the region of the state and the terminal they purchase their fuel from. These varied expenses from dealer to dealer make up the difference in price from area to area. Discount Heating Oil Prices control the margins that each dealer uses to set the price, assuring you the lowest price we can offer in your area. You may not get the lowest price in your state but you will get our lowest price in your particular area!
7. How do you price automatic deliveries?

Automatic deliveries are priced when the driver comes to your house.  Upon arrival  the Driver calls the office and checks for your price.  Once your delivery has been made your price is final; this means whether the price goes up or down you get the price we were using at the time of your delivery.  No exceptions; afterall you wouldn’t want us to call you and say that your price was going up after we delivered!  You will get the lowest price we offer in your area at the time of delivery.
